Well, obviously, that’s what we all kind of hope for. But I couldn’t imagine doing a project with the idea of how it’s going to affect people. It really has to affect you first, and if it does, then maybe it will affect other people … I think that people who don’t have that are clearly choosing things to become famous actresses. They’re clearly choosing things to make money. I mean, I love L.A.—I love living here. But I wish that we could make things without the need to hit a home run every single time. It’s a unique thing to Hollywood that if you don’t do that every time, then you’re considered a failure. But it’s like, “Well, are you making movies to be successful? Or are you making movies to learn something?” And it starts to influence people’s decisions. It makes sense because it’s hard to remain successful in Hollywood without figuring out what your path is and how people are going to perceive it. But I haven’t done that. I just got really lucky.
